FBCS provides various activities for our students, including, Spelling Bee, UIL Competition, Competitive Sports for 5th & 6th Grades: Basketball, Flag Football and Volleyball.

HONOR ROLL (3RD-6TH GRADE)

Distinguished Honor Roll
A student is required to have all A's (90 or above) in each academic subject. Only one N may be on the report card. A student may not have more than one N in any area. A student may not have any U's on the report card.

Regular Honor Roll
A student is required to have all academic grades average to a 90 or above. The grades must be an A or a B. Only one N may be on the report card. A student may not have more than one N in any area. A student may not have any U's on the report card.

PROGRESS REPORTS

Progress reports are sent home in the elementary grades each week. The report will be enclosed in the student’s folder along with work completed (or not completed) that week. Preschool progress reports are sent home every two weeks. Parents must read and sign these progress reports so that the student can return the folder the next day.

REPORT CARDS

Elementary students receive report cards every six weeks.

Preschool students receive report cards every six weeks.

If a student receives less than a passing grade in a subject, a conference should be held with the student's teacher. If a student is not making sufficient progress to pass to the next grade level, a conference with the administration should be held.

Report cards of students receiving less than passing grades are reviewed by the School Committee for continued placement in our program.

ALL FINES AND FEES (INCLUDING LIBRARY BOOKS, LIBRARY FINES, LUNCH CHARGES, ETC.) MUST BE PAID AND CURRENT IN ORDER TO RECEIVE REPORT CARDS.
