My behavior plan is simple.  Students are rewarded for good behavior, and reminded
when behavior is not acceptable.  We are still so young and have so much to learn.  Mistakes happen and we instill an attitude of "tomorrow is a new day".

Behavior Chart:

1. Green (smiley face) is where everyone starts out their day. A skittle at the end of class is the reward for not having clip pulled.

2. Yellow (Oopsy Bear) is when a few warnings have taken place and behavior has not improved. The consequence is 5 minutes out during recess or centers. This is just a reminder and I do not send a note home. No skittle at the end of class.

3. Orange (sad face) is when reminders are not helping and a note must be sent home to the parent or guardian.  10 minutes out during recess or centers. No skittle today.

4. Red (stop sign) is when an infraction has occurred that results in a visit to Mrs. Fritz's office.  A phone call will be made to the parent or guardian and the student will sit out for the entire duration of recess or centers. This is usually a result of harm to another student, teacher or school property. Needless to say...no skittle today! (but, a hug from Mrs. Hamilton is inevitable:) along with the phrase "tomorrow is a new day, and Jesus and Mrs. Hamilton still love you!")

Class Rules:

1. You may go quietly to the restroom without raising your hand.

2. Bubble in your mouth and hands behind your back while in line.

3. Raise your hand and wait to be called on before talking.

4. Be polite and use good manners.

5. No talking while the teacher is talking.

Once a week I will choose a different student to be our  "lamb of the week".
They will sit in a special desk and are allowed to bring pictures, toys, etc.
to decorate their space.  We turn in our lamb's name to the office on
Thursdays and it will go into a pot along with other classroom lambs.
One name will be picked to be the "school" lamb of the week and will be
announced in chapel the following Monday.  That special person will go to
lunch with Mrs. Fritz for a special celebration (to be determined at a
later date).  A note will be sent home to let you know.
