Here are a few fun Fall ideas that I use in the classroom.
I'd love to hear from you if you'd like to share some of your ideas.

The children enjoyed stamping their apples onto construction paper.
I cut two apples in half.  One horizontally, to show the star pattern,
and one vertically, to show the three pocket pattern.  Cool!

Children create this dot art apple by dipping the eraser end of a pencil
into paint and simply stamping it onto their apple.

One of the first things we learn in Pre-K is how to mix colors.
Mouse Paint is a wonderfully fun story to introduce to young children.
We practice mixing colors on a poster board art palette.

Construction paper apples are dipped into light brown paint to
resemble candied apples.  Write child's name on a craft stick and attach.

Our theme this year for Book Fair was "Reading Around the World".
Our Pre-K class chose Canada as our country.  This is an attempt of
all things Canadian. (Flag, Niagara Falls, and Mounted Policemen)

This was so much fun to create.  First I dressed the children in a red
jacket with a special hat.  Then I had them straddle a chair in the opposite
direction holding onto the back of the chair.  After printing the pictures, I simply cut around their bodies and mounted them on their die cut horse.

A closer look.

A sweet Mommy made us these yummy treats.
Cute idea I thought I'd pass on.

Look closely and you will see that these little pumpkins
are made by tiny knuckles and thumbprint leaves.

Provide a kid with a pumpkin and a bit of "bling"
and let them do their thing!

I found this cute spider snack on a wonderful teacher's website.
Mrs. Begg's Kindergarten Ideas (and she has a lot of them!)
This is a large marshmallow dipped in chocolate with 8 pretzel
stick legs.  I used Red Hots for the eyes on my spider snacks.

These tasty turkey treats are made from Ritz crackers, peanut butter,
pretzels, candy corn and mini chocolate chips.  They were a huge hit!

feathers made out of our painted handprints.
