Cute little snowmen were created by painting children's
handprints.
We used Sharpie pens to design the rest and attached a
cute, little
poem to go with it. It says...
"This little snowman is round and fat.
This little snowman wears a funny hat.
This little snowman has a carrot for a nose.
This little snowman has frosty toes.
And this little snowman is my friend.
Please don't melt till winters end."

This letter was created by dipping mini marshmallows
into white paint and stamping them onto construction
paper that had a letter written with a marker on it.
This direction is a "W" for winter. Turn it around
and it is "M" for marshmallow.

I absolutely love this craft. Diecut hands were glued
onto paper plates with the center cut out. The red
heart at the bottom of wreath says "We ARE the Dream".

Door decor for February. Look at our "sweet treats".
(Mini cupcake liners with children's photos inside.)

Valentine Buckets are easy and fun to make.
Save metal coffee cans or large fruit cans. Spray
paint them white and drill holes on either side of
bucket. Have children sponge paint hearts and add
glitter. Pipe cleaners were used for handles and
twisted into hearts.

These Valentine caterpillars are really special.
Children wrote their
names by placing a letter on each heart. This is a
great way for Pre-K children to practice their writing
skills and help you create a cute bulletin board.
Butterflies were made by teaching children how to cut
hearts from folded construction paper and attaching them
to colored popsicle sticks.

Abraham Lincoln, of course!
His beard was created by having the children curl their
paper strips around a pencil and then gluing them onto
his face.

Lots of little Lincolns here.

Yummy log cabin snacks were made by spreading white
icing "mortar" on graham crackers, then laying our
pretzel "logs" on top in a row.

I just love this craft. George Washington never
looked better!
Cut cotton balls in half (short way). They look
like small spiral curls for his wig. We cut a
coffee filter to make his collar. I've seen others
use white heart doilies.
